It's getting colder in the northern hemisphere and warmer in the southern hemisphere. Some of us are getting out our favorite sweaters and hats for the winter while others are digging out our shorts and swimming suits hoping for a sunny warm afternoon.

Your task is to photograph an article or articles of clothing that represent the season in your part of the world. This could be a favorite hand-knit sweater, a beautiful scarf, a pair of bermuda shorts, a cool t-shirt, just about anything that you can wear.

Just like last week, this is a pretty simple, broad topic. You can submit two photos each week so don't be shy!

Think about lighting, side lighting from a window or in the late afternoon is nice for photographing clothing. Try to avoid harsh direct light. It would be great to see the texture of the fabric.

Restriction: The article of clothing or articles of clothing must be the focus of the photo.

What it took:
Well it's getting colder in the northern hemisphere, and even though I'm still in the northern hemisphere and it's getting cooler here, it's tropical for those those that visit from the north.  This represents the season in my part of the world ... the start of tourist season.  I used afternoon light, and a side strobe held by my voice activated light stand.  If you look in the sunglasses, you will see me.
