            A Rocky Mountain Goat (Oreamnos americanus), Montana, July 2025. I hike up to goat country at least once a week. It is a 2,000 feet gain in elevation that is great exercise and it is cool and breezy while it is hot at lower elevations. The view and alpine wildflowers are amazing. And if I get lucky and find a goat, they are impressive in steep cliifs.
