Ascoltati (Listen to Yourself) - a photo on Flickriver

            Durante una passeggiata in un piccolo paese di mare, attraverso una vetrina vidi queste due sedie, illuminate esattamente così, in una stanza completamente vuota.

All'inizio mi trasmisero un senso di solitudine, quasi di abbandono… poi qualcosa è cambiato. Ho sentito un invito silenzioso a fermarmi, ad accogliere. Non solo persone, ma anche emozioni. Le sensazioni confuse, i disagi, i pensieri che fuggiamo.

Sedersi. Semplicemente sedersi. E dialogare con ciò che ci abita. Immaginare noi su una sedia, e sull’altra tutto ciò che abbiamo dentro. Incontrarsi, conoscersi, riconoscersi. Entrare in relazione con ciò che ci muove dentro.

Ognuno di noi attraversa momenti così.
E tu, in questo preciso istante… chi, o cosa, si siederebbe accanto a te?

During a walk in a small seaside village, I saw these two chairs through a shop window, lit exactly like this, in a completely empty room.

At first, they gave me a sense of solitude, almost of abandonment… then something shifted. I felt a silent invitation to pause, to welcome. Not just people, but emotions too—the unclear sensations, the discomforts, the thoughts we tend to run away from.

To sit. Simply sit. And have a dialogue with what lives inside us. To imagine ourselves on one chair, and on the other, everything we carry within. To meet, to get to know each other, to recognize ourselves. To build a relationship with what moves us from within.

We all go through moments like this.
