Accepted by Seaboard World as N8630 on delivery in 1969, this DC-8-63CF was leased out to International Air Bahama in 1970, and was used on the carrier's international charters to Europe.

In the mid-seventies, N8630 became a regular at Zürich, and was captured on short finals to runway 28 on the weekly Nassau to Zürich charter rotation, showing the airline's striking original livery.

A few months later, the DC-8 was acquired by Icelandair as TF-FLE, and leased back to International Air Bahama, albeit in a much less spectacular livery. When the airline ceased operations in 1981, the DC-8 flew for Saudia, National Airlines, and eventually United Parcel Service. UPS converted the aircraft to a DC-8-73CF by fitting new CFM engines, but retired it in 2009 at Roswell, were it was scrapped sometime after.
