This former Lufthansa Boeing 727 was acquired by Jordan in 1975, and became the royal transport for then King of Jordan Hussein bin Talal. Registered as JY-HMH, the aircraft wore the formal title of Jordan, 'The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan' on a basic ALIA Royal Jordanien Airlines red and gold livery.

JY-HMH was captured taxiing out for departure at Geneva upon one of its regular visits, named 'Saqr Quraish', which translates into 'The Falcon of the Quraish', the powerful Arab tribe to which Prophet Mohammed belonged.

In 1981 the 727 was transferred to Arab Wings as JY-AHS, and later flew with a Cayman company before being acquired by the Governmenet of Zaire as 9Q-RDZ in 1986, becoming 9Q-CDC when Zaire became Congo again in early 1998. The aircraft was reportedly sold as 9S-CDC in 2019, but its current status is unknown.
