Odette Airways was founded in 2001, and started operations in early 2002, using this MD-83 on charter services from Zürich to Pristina, Ohrid and Tirana. Registered HB-INV, the aircraft was built for Swissair in 1987 as an MD-81, but had become an MD-83 by 1995 when it was transferred to Crossair, and eventually Odette.

HB-INV was captured on finals to runway 14, completing charter service OAW151 from Pristina. After Swissair folded its wings, the owners of Odette Airways took up the chance and formed a new low-cost airline called Helvetic Airways, and the MD-83 was subsequently transferred to Helvetic's AOC in November 2003, and Odette Airways was liquidated in 2004. Interestingly Helvetic Airways retained Odette's ICAO-code OAW.

HB-INV continued to fly for Odette on Helvectic's AOC until October 2004, when it was stored and eventually sold to Austrian MAP Executive Flightservice as OE-LOG. The MD-83 was retired from service in 2008 and stored at Malmö-Sturup, and according to newer images is still there, but in a dire state.
