Artists and Models, August 1925.

A very interesting and popular variety of magazine in the mid-20s, as various Artists and Models magazines battled on the newstands. And in the courts. Notice in the lower right, one of many tactics on covers publishers used in attempting to prove themselves "The Original".

Surprisingly elegant and even more artful than one might suppose, readers enjoyed these magazines for photos of starlets and dancers, occasionally in the nude. A cynic might suppose the art is just a cover for the nudity, but what if they are one in the same?
