            A sight almost never seen in recent times, the revival of locomotive-hauled V/Line services.

Back from beyond the brink, only 11 days after the "final" locomotive-hauled service on the Ballarat line, the sight of passenger locomotives made a return to the line in a big way.

In what could be the first ever revenue run of a PTV-liveried N set on the Ballarat line, V/Line's N467 hauls 5-car N set VN3 as they cross Melton Weir on down pass 8265 from Melton to Bacchus Marsh. 19/12/23
