Forlì (FC), Italy. Icaro; La statua, situata in Piazzale della Vittoria, è un'opera in marmo di Carrara realizzata dallo scultore romano Francesco Saverio Palozzi nel 1941.

            Alta quasi cinque metri, rappresenta Icaro con lo sguardo rivolto al cielo, in una posa che suggerisce lo slancio verso il volo. La statua, inizialmente posizionata su una base che richiamava le rocce di una scogliera, è un simbolo del volo e dell'ambizione umana. 

English: The statue of Icarus in Forlì, located in Piazzale della Vittoria, is a work in Carrara marble created by the Roman sculptor Francesco Saverio Palozzi in 1941. Almost five meters tall, it represents Icarus with his gaze turned to the sky, in a pose that suggests the impetus towards flight. The statue, initially positioned on a base that recalled the rocks of a cliff, is a symbol of flight and human ambition. Stands out in Piazzale della Vittoria (Victory Square) right outside the former Youth Aeronautical College. (Former G.I.L., Littorio's Italian Youth).
