Hunting in Mordheim - a photo on Flickriver

            Sister Hildegard held the torch higher. The blood trail was clear and still warm. “He’s close” whispered Ulrike.
The Witchhuntress had tracked the cultists for two weeks, eventually ending up in the cursed ruin; once known as Mordheim. Upon entering the city through a crumbling part of the wall, she had been apprehended by a group of heavily armed women. These were the infamous Sisters of Sigmar, rumoured to be a heretical order of witches.
Ulrike soon found out that; as their duties had changed from healing and prayer, to combat and the collection of the fabled Wyrdstone, their reputation had unfairly been smeared.
As soon as she had stated her business, the white-haired sister Hildegard had volunteered to assist her on the hunt. Eager to prove her martial prowess and unwavering zeal, to any and all who would doubt it.
Hours later, the two reached a part of the city controlled by undead, a good sign for the Witchhuntress. After disposing of some mindless zombies, they spotted a cloaked figure hiding in the shadows, quickly darting away. 
“He must have cut himself, look” Ulrike pointed to a trail of blood drops on the ground, in the direction the cultist had fled. “Sigmar has blessed our quest” Hildegard added. They followed the trail into a courtyard, the buildings remarkably well-preserved. As they entered, the red-eyed rats scurried as silently as they could, leaving the courtyard eerily quiet. They were not alone..
