Fun with Flora - Daisy - a photo on Flickriver

            Still working off the prompt for next month's SeaLUG meeting. 
I wanted to go with something with that classic flower look, worrying less about creating organic shapes and conveying more of a cartoon vibe. Very happy with the shape of the petals and the connection to a central "hub." I'm going to look for ways to exploit that in the future.
I'm still not totally happy with the pot. It looks alright, but I would've preferred to capture more of that classic terracotta flowerpot shape and color. It became far more representative of my parts-on-hand than anything.
