Frente blanca / White forehead - a photo on Flickriver

            En febrero las avocetas ( Recurvirostra avosetta) aún no presentan su precioso plumaje de cría. Los negros son menos intensos y el píleo, que más tarde será negro brillante, muestra zonas blancas en la frente.

In February, avocets (Recurvirostra avosetta) have not yet displayed their beautiful breeding plumage. The blacks are less intense, and the crown, which will later become glossy black, shows white areas on the forehead.
