TRC 2005 - a photo on Flickriver

TRC 2005

            The Trona crew is back at it again bringing the Searles turn towards the setting sun to the interchange with UP.

After staying at the West end of the Trona line the night before, we decided to head to Mojave to kill some time, but with no luck there surprisingly, we came back and drove through the desert off Trona Rd scouting for spots. After numerous different locations, I decided on a straight on shot capture the flat desert and hills rising up in the background. This made for a really nice shot of capture the scenery and 2005, and what was especially good is that it was close enough that the fading SP logo could clearly be seen.
