EVEROO at Lyle - a photo on Flickriver

EVEROO at Lyle

            One of PNW's well know trash trains, the H-EVEROO, makes its way EB along the gorge with a trio of ex-ATSF SD75Ms which are, or at least used to be one of the most common units found on this train.

After waiting for at least 2 hours, and about 5 trains, the EVEROO finally made it out of the Lyle siding to finish its last stretch of its run towards the Roosevelt trash facility. Up in Everett, WA, trash is loaded into topless intermodal containers and brought out to BNSF to load onto trains like the EVEROO, they then make there way south down to Roosevelt where the containers are unloaded like regular intermodals and put on trucks sent up the hill to the massive pit of trash building up on the other side, the same happens with UP's facility in Arlington, OR.
