Barbara In Memorium (Slideshow) - a photo on Flickriver

Two shots of my beloved wife from the same session as this have been previously uploaded with the titles
Smile with Pink Scarf #1 &
Smile with Pink Scarf #2.

We could not have known then that they were taken in what would turn out to be her last month of reasonably normal health after living for some years with a known terminal diagnosis, and therefore how significant my description for #1 would be.

Although those two offerings were my favourites, I find that taken together the full set does more to keep her personality vividly alive for me. So I am putting all of them together in an album, individually, and as a slide show. I cannot help smiling and feeling a bit better when I view the show, almost like a movie in some parts (the time span from first to last was around five minutes, but some sequences are only on the order of seconds apart.) At the same time, these images hurt because they caught her to the life yet I cannot reach across the table and and touch my sweetheart's face...

Apologies, but it is therapeutic for me...
