Fife veteran Barclay - a photo on Flickriver

            No.29, Andrew Barclay 1142 was built for the Fife Coal Co in 1909 and worked at a number of pits in Fife, ending up at Frances Colliery. 
It was saved from the scrapheap and plinthed at a park in Danderhall, Midlothian where it was photographed in 1982, with the winding house of Monktonhall Colliery visible on the right. 
Later moved to Prestongrange museum, it then headed back over the Forth in 2017 to the Shed 47 group at Lathalmond where restoration to running condition is under way.
