*Cozumel Sailing Ship on a Crystal Sea

            This is the first photograph I knew I had captured.

Our first day arriving in Cozumel while the sun was setting.  The taxi pulled up to our Lodging and I looked at the ocean view.  I saw a sailing ship riding the swift current across the horizon and a palm tree leaf waiting slightly ahead. 

I imagined this photograph just before it happened.  I dropped my bags beside  a very confused driver and pulled out my camera and raced to the point where the palm leaf and the passing sailboat would soon converge.

I only managed one shot before the boat slipped out of the line of view.

This photo has always held a place in my heart because it was the first moment when I saw the possibility of a great photograph.  It is why I am still chasing that dream.

So I lend it to you to catch your own dream and sail away!
