Die Aurach ist der Bach meiner Kindheit.
Stundenlang bin ich an ihrem Ufer gesessen und habe unbewusst das gemacht, was wir heute Meditation nennen.
Ich habe ihre Steine umgedreht und ihre Lebewesen erforscht, ich bin durch sie gewatet, bin auf ihrem Eis gegangen und bin auch eingebrochen.
Später habe ich sie fotografisch neu entdeckt, immer bergauf bis zur nahen Quelle, nie bergab.

The Aurach is the brook of my childhood.
For hours I sat on its bank and unconsciously did what we now call meditation.
I turned over its stones and explored its creatures, I waded through it, walked on its ice and sometimes broke through it as well.
Later in life I rediscovered it photographically, always traveling uphill to the nearby source, never downhill.
