1:18 Scale diecast model of the 1934 Duesenberg II SJ (by Greenlight) similar to the car in the 2013 movie The Great Gatsby .
Canon EF-S Wide-Angle Zoom 10-22mm - F/3.5-4.5.

The car in the movie, a modern reproduction, has a value of $3,000,000 and is currently on display at the Peterson Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, California.

If you are making shots of scale models you need a wide angle lens that can get within a few inches of the model and has a lot of detail at a high aperture setting. I don't use a flash because I don't need to. I can leave the shutter open as long as necessary and reflections of a flash can make the model look more like a toy rather than the real thing. The idea is to make the model look like a full scale object and the existing light is more realistic.
