            Das Berliner Stadtschloss 

Ein Relikt aus der Preußenzeit: König Friedrich der I. ließ das Stadtschloss im Jahr 1701 zu einer Königsresidenz ausbauen. Zuvor war es nur eine kleine Burg, die zur Kontrolle der Handelswege zwischen Berlin und Cölln diente.
