            Durham Cathedral from the opposite bank of the River Wear, County Durham, UK. The Cathedral is a UNESCO World Heritage site along with Durham's Castle. It was built from 1093 onwards and is the bural place of St Cuthbert and the 7th century historian, the Venerable Bede.
