Virtual Western Loco Weekend Event (i of ii)

            Back in time once again...to early February 2019.

On this day two year's ago - Sunday 3rd February 2019 and the preceding Saturday, the Great Central Railway (GCR) in Leicestershire held a 'Western Loco Weekend Event' with three steam engines operating on passenger trains.

Another of the featured engines was GWR Collett Designed "Manor" 7800 Class 4-6-0 5MT No. 7802 Bradley Manor - which was also the 'Guest Engine' at GCR's 2019 Winter Steam Gala held between 25th and 27th January 2019.  

It's pictured here at 1.00pm on the Sunday having just departed from Loughborough Central with the early afternoon passenger service for Leicester North - working hard as it climbs the long and increasing gradient before firstly stopping at Quorn and Woodhouse. 

Surprising just how much smoke such a small loco can emit too!
