            Direct Rail Services' 37401 'Mary Queen of Scots' leads a heavily delayed 3J51 alongside the River Humber, with 37402 'Stephen Middlemore 23.12.1954 - 8.6.2013' bringing up the rear. After skipping the diagrammed reversal at Hull the set passed a mere 93 minutes late, having set out over two hours later from York owing to issues with 401.

A lovely way to end an excellent day on the east coast, with the autumn sun just clinging on long enough to light up the Humber bridge.
