NS 1114, Utrecht CS - a photo on Flickriver

            Voor mijn werk moest ik in de tachtiger en negentiger jaren regelmatig naar Gouda. De reis ging per trein en zodoende ging de camera vaak mee. Het overstappen te Utrecht CS voor de stoptrein naar Gouda, duurde het ruim twintig minuten voordat deze vertrok. Tijdens het overstappen was er daarom voldoende tijd om een aantal treinen op de foto te zetten.

Eén van de treinen die op dat moment op de foto kon worden gezet was de "Nord West Express" van Kopenhagen naar Hoek van Holland. De trein was samengesteld uit diverse personenwagens van verschillende spoorwegmaatschappijen. Locomotief 1114 van de NS komt met D 236 "Nord West Express"  het station Utrecht CS binnenrijden. Links staat locomotief 1302 van de NS te wachten op drukkere tijden.
