Finding the daybreak under green water

The poet W.S. Merwin was an ardent practitioner of zen. And this is a very zen poem. I would like to think that this photograph of mine (taken of some stones in the gentle flow of the Liffey River in Tasmania) in some way approximates that same sensibility. I love the play of light on the stones as it is filtered by the clear and green-tinged water. 

And then these lines of Merwin's:
"...faces of water turning into themselves
changing without a word into themselves"

That's it! If you want to get close to the secret of life, that's it. Become yourSELF. Your REAL self. Not your socially constructed "self" (ego). Just BE and in the process BECOME.

Let the play of Light transform your soul, and experience Eternity in the moment.
