[NEW] National Express (East Yorkshire) 20018 - BV74 LOA

            Well, colour me shocked! Never thought I'd get one so early in the day! After a previous investment in new Levante IIIs back in late 2018/early 2019 that, since then, have been bolstered with additions of either second-hand Levantes or donated members of the regular East Yorkshire Coaches fleet, five years later than first announced, three new Levante IIIAs entered service with East Yorkshire on National Express duties, with an additional six supposedly on their way later this year.

So, the last batch were Levante IIIs, but these are Levante IIIAs. What gives? Well, the most obvious difference is that conventional mirror arms have been replaced with camera mirrors. Around the coach, there are a bucketload more sensors to aid with collision prevention, the cab area has been redesigned, and new for all National Express coaches from mid-2024, there is additional sloganeering that coincides with a new ad campaign which reads 'If you know, you go', in addition to some further signwriting to the rear. Know what, though? How cheap fares are? Where the bus will take you?

One of three such coaches recently taken into service by East Yorkshire, possibly also having a load of Hull Kingston Rovers fans travelling on board as well, East Yorkshire's National Express-contracted 20018, a 2025 Scania K410CB6 Caetano Levante IIIA, is seen along the A63 running route 561 to London.
