Stagecoach | LX03NFA 17857 | ALX400 on the 61 | 26/03/18

Stagecoach's Bromley (TB) based Transbus ALX400 Dennis Trident II (LX03NFA 17857) is seen spinning into the Bromley North Station bus stops about to start a trip on the 61 to Chislehurst.

This bus, alongside another 17, was ordered as a PVR top-up for the 5 at Barking (BK), which also resulted in there being enough tridents to spare in order to convert the 145 to double decks, which would displace the 10.2m ALX200s which were on the route at the time to other routes.

Around roughly July 2011, shortly after Stagecoach took over again from Maquire Banks, 17857 was refurbished from the Stagecoach beachball livery to the tfl red that's seen in the picture.

During December 2014, 17857 was transferred to Romford (NS) garage, although it didn't last too long there.

In March 2016, Bromley (TB) based SN63NBY 10194 was involved in a fire on the 208., so 17857 was transferred over on long-term loan to temporarily replace it, but then ended up staying there once 10194 returned (in one piece again) and was withdrawn around November 2018 (which was roughly the time it was announced that stagecoach had lost the 208 iirc).
