Metrobus | YN08OAX 565 | Omnicity on the 358 | 28/08/19

            Back in 2019, Go-Ahead London operated 4 Scania Omnicity CN230UBs from their Metrobus subsidiary at their Orpington (MB) base.

This was due to the unfortunate fire which happened at the garage in 2018 which burnt a few of the allocated Citaros, so it was decided that Scania Omnicites 561-563 & 565, which were made redundant from the 293 loss, would make a return to the 358 after their long hiatus from it, which made them very nostalgic to see if you came across one.

Unfortunately, 563 was withdrawn quite early on (May 2019), but the rest of the now trio of Omnicites powered on until 2020 (565 withdrawn in April, 561 in September and 562 in October). They were replaced by SK67 plated Wrightbus Streetlites (WS100-103) which are on long-term loan from their Croydon Garage.

WS100 replaced 565, 
WS102 replaced 561, 
and WS101 replaced 562, 
and WS103 replaced 563, I'm assuming (it came quite late compared to the rest).

So here we are! Go-Ahead's Orpington (MB) based Scania Omnicity CN230UB (YN08OAX 565). It is seen here loading at Penge Sainsbury's on the 358 to Crystal Palace on a Wednesday afternoon.
