New York & Ogdensburg @ Norwood, NY - a photo on Flickriver

            After years of trying and failing, I have finally slayed the dragon. I've had my car die mid chase, multiple "no-runs", and plenty of not knowing when they ran at all before that when I used to live up here. Lo and behold, last weeks visit turned out picture perfect. Here we see a shot I've had in mind for 3 years, a bridge that I just happened to drive by as a fresh student in town taking a look around. Fast forward to July 2021, and I'm running full speed down to the bridge while the train clears the town directly ahead of me. I rushed to find a position, and just after I settled in I saw headlights approaching. The TP&W original GP18 is a lovely subject to shoot on this classic Rutland span, and with a single boxcar for the port in tow, my day was far from over.
