Waiting on a hillside - a photo on Flickriver

            66736 accelerates away from a slack which was between the two viaducts that make up the horseshoe curve between Bridge of Orchy and Tyndrum Upper.  The train is the 6E45 0807 Fort William to North Blyth Alcan freight.

It was a joy waiting for this train as I had a very pleasant one hour wait on the hillside and due to a small breeze and the sun shining there were no midges. It is unusual for me to have time to chill out like this.  There was also plenty of warning as I heard the train a good 5 minutes away; shortly after it left Bridge of Orchy as it honked its horn at a railway worker who had been walking down the track.   

The sun did disappear just before the train came, but the photo looks just as interesting with the clouds flowing in.
