For a while, this image has been held captive. I'm not saying I don't want to show it off, but... It suits right here: private but not secret.
We fit this antagonism: It's not a now thing, and yet also so recent. We interacted with each other in a timid manner, we occasionally engaged in small talk, but never with the idea of small talk itself; instead, it always had some substance. Eventually, we met and haven't stopped since.
I commonly write a few words of the person in the first photo I snap of them. I carry far more for you than words can convey, which is why I'm not doing that with you, not because you don't deserve it, and not because I wouldn’t want to proclaim it to the world, but because I savor the fact that we’re not loud.
