Longfrie Inn, St Pierre Du Bois, Guernsey, Channel Islands 8 June 2025

            The Longfrie Inn was an old Guernsey farmhouse which dates from the early 1600s. It was once the custom in Guernsey to build  seats on windows or chimneys to allow witches to take a rest during flights. The Longfrie has long provided ammunition for mother-in-law jokes.
