Mandarinenentenpaarung / Mandarin ducks mating / in explore 20250316

            Ende Januar ging es los, dass sich die Enten Partner suchen. Anfang März haben sich die Pärchen gefunden und sind mit Nestbau und Familienplanung beschäftigt. Diesen Zeitraum darf man nicht verpassen, bestimmte Bilder bekommt man den ganzen Rest des Jahres nicht mehr zu sehen.  Die Einladung zum Akt selbst ging von der Ente aus. Auch wenn es vielleicht etwas ruppig aussieht, so lief doch alles recht entspannt und ohne Hektik ab. Ich hoffe, dass bei den beiden auch alles weitere klappt und dass ich die Gelegenheit haben werde sie im Mai als Familie fotografieren zu können.

At the end of January, the ducks started to pair up. At the beginning of March they found their partners and are busy building their nests and planning their families. As a photographer you can't miss this period, as you won't get to see certain situations for the rest of the year.  The invitation to the act itself came from the duck. Even though it may look a little rough, everything went quite smoothly and without any hustle and bustle. I hope that everything else works out for them too and that I will have the opportunity to photograph them as a family in May.
