Wanderfalke mit Beute / Peregrine Falcon with prey

            Wahrscheinlich hat jeder schon irgendwie gehört oder gelesen, dass der Wanderfalke extrem schnell ist. Bis ich vor einigen Tagen aber das Glück hatte, einen Wanderfalken bei uns im Ort bei der Jagd auf Stare beobachten zu können war mir nicht bewusst, WIE schnell er ist. Obwohl ich die Jagd wegen der schreiend flüchtenden Stare rechtzeitig bemerkte habe ich den Falken, der in Giebelhöhe über die Dächer fetzte, nicht  erwischt obwohl ich die Kamera schon in der Hand hatte. Die Aufnahme hier entstand als er nach erfolgreicher Jagd auf demselben Weg wieder zurück kam. Leider machte er den Rückflug deutlich höher, aber man kann trotzdem erkennen, dass er einen jungen Star in seinen Klauen trägt. Wo ist das 800mm Tele mit dem 2-fach Konverter an der APS-C Kamera, wenn  man es braucht? 😛
Um das Bild besonders detailreich sehen zu können, drückt die Tasten l (kleines L) und F11. Beim vergrößern nur durch Anklicken gehen euch viele Details verloren. 

Everyone has probably already somehow heared/read that the peregrine falcon is extremely fast. However, until I was lucky enough to be able to observe a peregrine falcon hunting starlings in our village, I was not aware of HOW fast it is. Although I noticed the hunt in time because of the screaming fleeing starlings, I didn't catch the falcon that flew over the roofs at rooftop height, even though I already had the camera in my hands. This photo here was taken when he came back the same way after a successful hunt. Unfortunately he made the return flight significantly higher, but you can still tell he's carrying a young starling in his claws. Where is the 800mm tele lens with 2x converter attached to the APS-C body when you need it? 😛
