Scheer, kath. Pfarrkirche St. Nikolaus

            Diese ursprüngliche gotische, flachgedeckte Säulenbasilika wurde 1742 - 52 barockisiert. Die ausdrucksstarke Dekoration
wird im Hauptschiff durch die Fresken gestaltet. Josef Esperlin, ein Schüler vom Riedlinger Joseph Ignaz Wegscheider war im Langhaus für diese zuständig. Dargestellt wird die Verherrlichung der Dreifaltigkeit. Wir haben es jedoch nicht ganz mit dem Original zu tun, weil 1935 ein Erdbeben
die Malereien beschädigte und diese 1937 ausgebessert wurden.
