UP 1943 at Bringhurst

            UP's Veterans Unit leads a westbound manifest out of Englewood Yard at the busy control point of Bringhurst, the far west end of the yard.

Bringhurst was once the domain of searchlight dwarf signals, but recent upgrades have removed the ones here (a few still remain to the east). And as can be seen to the left, UP is currently in the process of adding a third main track here between Tower 26 and Tower 68. This should aid in letting through trains get around others like this one that are building their train on the main.
