Instead of taking a panoramic shot with a wide angle lens I zoomed in, took 9 vertical shots and stitched them together using LR6, in order to enhance the resolution (11523x4878 | 2.36:1).

The software tried to align the shots along the waterline, which in reality is slightly curved and not straight. I had to use the distortion tool to bend the waterline back a little.
The subtle yellowish toning was made in Luminar using a luminance mask on the color tone filter to keep the dark regions in pure b&w. This highlight toning is known from lith processing (although usually there is a little bit more magenta tint, see Steve O'Nions' vlog) and can alternatively be achieved by split toning and balancing towards the highlights.
I used a very wide oval mask to reduce the dark tones a little towards the top and bottom edge. The oval mask was preferred against two gradient masks in order to enhance the effect slightly near the left and right edge.
