Mural of Hungary's famous football victory over England

            This was a famous victory when an ultra-talented Hungarian team beat England 6-3 at Wembley in 1953.

It shouldn't have been that much of a shock - Hungary were the top-ranked team in the world.   But England were guilty of complacency and a certain imperial arrogance, both shattered by this defeat.  

Throw in the fact that the countries were on opposite sides of the Iron Curtain, at a time of high tension in the Cold War, and it's no surprise that this was billed as one of the games of the century.  

As this mural suggests, they still haven't forgotten it In Budapest.
