Holy Ground: looking from Ad Gefrin to Yeavering Hill Fort (Inspiration for Edoras)

Yeavering or Ad Gefrin means the place of the goats.
This place has been the scene of millennia long site of human settlement. The view is from the site of the summer residence of the Kings of Northumbria going back unbroken to more permanent settlement around3500 BC by early farmers. There is certainly continuity from the early Bronze Age up the take over by the Angles of Northumbria.
I feel special link with this place and would not mind living just up the valley in Old Yeavering.
