The steel and the light - a photo on Flickriver

            The cold made everything around the lake look like steel, until the sun illuminated the mist in the next valley producing this warm glow that grew in size and intensity. 
If you look closely you will see my camera bag among the frosty grasses.  Schoolboy error but I decided to leave it in to remind me not to make the same mistake again.
