Flowers pots and grandfather's bricks

            The area between the house and lagoon is a mix of new and old elements.  A new set of stair, a new deck and dock and more recently added pots to hold the plants - but the red bricks my grandfather laid back in the 1950s still dominate the area.  Bricks from my youth, bricks of the stubbed toe, memories good and bad, but memories all the same.
