The very end of the Spreckles Industrial Lead

            Three units on the UP Salinas job have backed all the way down to the very end of the branch.  It's the start of the new season and things are just getting back online after being shut down for the Christmas holidays.  The task at hand here for todays' crew before they start switching the local industry is to install a new "END of TRACK" sign at the end of the rails.  Apparently, the old sign was appropriated by someone. The track ended without any signage warning the crews.  There is no bumper post or other stopping device at the end of the rails here. I didn't figure out what was going on until the units reversed direction and I could see the new sign post.
