Motor 51 pulls tanks off the UP interchange in Mason City, IA

            The railroad goes to work in the morning and switches both interchanges (CP and UP) and then the industries along the line. Some days there are multiple westbound and eastbound movements, or sometimes the work day is much shorter.  Most of these box motors are parked where they work and crews are trucked to their work site.  The crews often assist each other in switching operations.
