Kentuckyhouse eastbound at Clements, CA

            This is a shot of Southern Pacific branch line operations on the Kentuckyhouse Branch, east of Lodi.  Three times a week, the local would run out to the Calaveras Cement Plant at Kentuckyhouse, hauling loads of coal, empty cement hoppers and box cars east.  Three GP-9Es power todays train.  The branch line here is passing behind an old brick building on the east side of Clements.  Today the tracks are gone, but the building still stands!
