Unidentified Location (solved) - a photo on Flickriver

            [ Tagada Victoria identified this city as Antananarivo, Madagascar (thank you!). ]

This stereoview (see the anaglyph version) is from the same unidentified photographer as the previous pictures.He was probably a french colonial civil servant.

I hope that someone could give more information about these photographs, but wait for the other ones.

Until now, I have the following clues from the other pictures that I will upload during the next days:

- ca. 1915
- uniformed men wear a helmet with the picture of an anchor
- names on buildings (european style) are in french (french colony?)
- there are a few rickshaws in the streets
- some people in the streets look african
- most civilians wear white capes over their suits
