A Horseback Ride in Hankou 1913

            Fortunately this large photograph from Hankou (Wuhan) has  a date and all the names on the backside.  In the early 20th century many british and german merchants were living in the foreign controlled districts along the Han riverfront. Many VIPs of their time are pictured here on a horseback ride.
