Lorsque ces petites oies arrivent  dans ma région , j'aime aller à leur rencontre (même lorsque la tempête sévit !!) ; Je suis admirative en pensant qu'elles viennent du Groenland et de Sibérie et migrent vers nos côtes océanes ;
Ce matin là, elles étaient environ 250 .Paisibles, elles "broutaient" les zostères, les algues vertes et les salicornes ...puis leur cri s'est fait plus fort ...en regardant plus loin, j'ai vu un autre groupe, au moins aussi important, en approche... certaines nageaient, d'autres venaient les rejoindre en volant ..on sentait qu'elles appréciaient de se retrouver... Cette espèce est très sociable !

When these little geese arrive in my area, I like to go and meet them (even when the storm is raging!!); I am in awe thinking that they come from Greenland and Siberia and migrate to our ocean coasts;
That morning, there were around 250 of them. Peacefully, they were "grazing" on eelgrass, green algae and samphire...then their cry became louder...looking further, I saw another group, at least as large, approaching... some were swimming, others were flying to join them... we felt that they were enjoying being together... this species is very sociable!
