Récupération du poisson - a photo on Flickriver

            Manakara (Madagascar) - Une série sur un quartier de pêcheurs ne saurait être complète sans les poissons. Quand j’ai pris cette photo, l’essentiel du poisson avait déjà été dégagé des filets, notamment les pièces les plus grosses destinées prioritairement aux restaurants. Ne restaient que les espèces les plus petites qui se vendent à la population moins fortunée. Retirer le poisson emprisonné dans les filets, prend une heure environ. Après, il faudra démêler les filets et les replier, éventuellement les réparer. Encore au moins deux heures de travail.

Fish recovery

Manakara (Madagascar) - A series on a fishing district would not be complete without the fish. When I took this photo, most of the fish had already been removed from the fillets, especially the larger pieces intended primarily for restaurants. Only the smallest species remained which are sold to the less fortunate population. Removing the fish trapped in the nets takes about an hour. Afterwards, it will be necessary to untangle the nets and fold them up, possibly repairing them. At least two more hours of work.
