            Lugoj (Roumanie) - Cette photo a été prise quelques instant avant la précédente. Ces femmes étaient à l’arrière-plan des danseurs qui virevoltent sur un air d’accordéon dans la cour de l’orphelinat. Je venais de faire un plan serré de ces employées. J’avais toujours l’oeil dans le viseur lorsque l’homme s’est soudainement avancé se penchant pour embrasser sa collègue. La scène n’aura duré qu’un très bref instant. Le temps de déclencher. Cet élan spontané de tendresse donne de l’intérêt à une photo qui s’annonçait statique.

The kiss that makes the difference

Lugoj (Romania) - This photo was taken a few moments before the previous one. These women were in the background dancers who twirl on an accordion tune in the courtyard of the orphanage. I had just made a tight portrait of these employees. I still had my eye in the sights when the man suddenly came forward and leaned down to kiss his colleague. The scene only lasted a very brief moment. Time to trigger. This spontaneous burst of tenderness gives interest to a photo that was announced to be static.
