Ready for fishing

            The crab cutters have also become bigger and more modern. Stuffed with the latest technology they go hunting for prey. And yet this old fishing romanticism is still present at the cutter harbours for the spectators as ever. But it is a big competition at sea, because the nets are difficult to fill despite the most modern technology. Overfishing is unmistakable everywhere.

Die Krabbenkutter sind mittlerweile auch immer grösser und moderner geworden. Vollgestopft mit neuester Technik geht es auf die Jagd nach Beute. Und trotzdem ist diese alte Fischereiromantik an den Kutterhäfen für den Zuschauer wie eh- und je vorhanden. Aber es ist ein grosser Konkurrenzkampf auf See, weil die Netze trotz der modernsten Technik nur schwer zu füllen sind. Die Überfischung ist überall unverkennbar.
